Join Us for a Screening of National Geographic’s ‘Gender Revolution’ November 2, 2017

One of the biggest barriers we have to break through in our movement to pass #TransBillNH is a simple lack of awareness. That’s why a key component of our campaign is putting transgender people and their stories front and center in an effort to introduce our fellow Granite Staters to the issue.

Recently, National Geographic released a groundbreaking documentary called Gender Revolution. The film takes an in-depth look at gender expression and includes many amazing, life-affirming conversations with transgender people from all walks of life.

We will host several screenings of Gender Revolution over the next two months. RSVP to a screening near you:

  • Monday, November 6th at 6PM at Jupiter Hall, 89 Hanover St., Manchester
  • Thursday, November 16th at 7PM at the Pease Public Library, 1 Russell St., Plymouth
  • Wednesday, December 6th at 6PM at the Baker Free Library, 509 South St., Bow

And because our goal is ultimately to pass #TransBillNH, we will invite local lawmakers to view the film with us. Representatives from a spectrum of supportive Nashua-based community groups will also be there.

The movie is 1 hours and 35 minutes long. After each screening, we’ll open up the floor for discussion, including from lawmakers and community members who may have questions about #TransBillNH. We’ll also discuss advocacy next steps, so if you have been looking for a way to get involved, you won’t want to miss this.
